we can hardly believe it - woods augusthus is shortlisted for best officebuilding of the year - we spent a few years on this project - from the building was a mere hole in the ground and could not be happier - the place is now filled with life and every nook are in use - just as intended. We had a blast when doing a full floor of the newly build Pakhusene in the new part of Arhus, the views are amazing and the in situ contrete walls and saturated floors truly made a gorgeous backdrop to our design of reception area, meeting centre and private offices.

HQ for client, MAKWäRK Interior Design & Concepts recently finished a full bespoke interior case for a very cool client, cool because they had full faith in our crazy ideas.

And then THIS happened!!! The amazing and world-renowned Sinne Eeg gave her first live concert since corona affected us all HERE at our office space @5tested She dazzled us with her amazing voice and we enjoyed the jazz rising in the courtyard to windows - were we had divided people into safe distancing of course #amazing #5tested we are still high from the experience - we are a particularly social co-working space so we really needed this 🙌🏼5teSTED is just something out of the ordinary and we are thriving together even in tough times.

SO its finally official - the name and brand of woods - a co-working concept that has been in the making for more than two years. We are very exited!!! and the first location is almost done - so after this post we are jumping right back to work. We have worked the concept, full interior concept, bespoke of everything from the amazing cafe & restaurant to the meeting centre with fierce, fierce interior to the HUBs on every floor. MAKWäRK is knee deep in woods and loving it as the brand evolves and new locations will pop up - very soon.

Our office space in Copenhagen is not just any shared space - its actually ours! We run 5teSTED with a passion and we have 140 amazing co-work coworkers around us daily. We started 11 years ago with a small space - not thinking we would have anything but the office so it really happened by chance. The space is 5 floors around a courtyard - where we enjoy our lunch on the roof terrace. The space is full of people who have been there for years - even from the beginning and its like coming home when you enter - exactly the way we attack any job for our clients weather it be a hotel, cafe, office, restaurant or HQ - you want that energy walking through the doors.

Working on a system to solve alot of the issues we face especially within co-working spaces: the need for individual and flexible wall shelving/systems (that also looks nice..) cant wait to show you more - right now we are testing it out - and trying different versions + loading it with tons of stuff of course.
When you hit a wall - literally, and the wall is full of windows - the challenge was to open it up and make it a feature - this was our bid. Sometimes you need to exaggerate the elephant or dark horse in the room - make it all about the quaintness.

We spent a few months ghost writing on a Co-Working Concept. We love to take a deep dive into the full concept and truly craft a unique space and develop the frames and uncover the perfect statement pieces/ colours artworks etc.

MoodBoard /outside areas /pictures; arena, Amsterdam. Arena serves as a great inspiration for an inviting, multipurpose, well-functioning open space.
ITS here.. finally, the Olive Barstool, by ayanomimi. We were at the launch and the reveal of our new space featurering the Olive Barstool with quite an homage to the chair - on the walls. The top of the chair is easy to change - making the chair one of thoose you can keep forever - just changing the fabric when its worn. AND we love the design & the Kvadrat fabrics - of course we were unable to choose - so we got one of each of the options. Check out the chair ayanomimi
We love to make good use of ALL the space - when faced with a very boring 90´building with a new VERY boring carpet / we needed to create space for a phonecall or a small informal meeting. The hallway in the project of 1500m2 is endlessly long but to narrow for phonebooths or other fancy stuff - so we created small nooks with the Goose chair in diverse colours. With a dramatic dark wall we were able to create pockets of light - drawing you in. The client loves the nooks as well as the rest of the project.
.. we love what we do - especially when we are handed the keys to a tired, former 80’s type office floor - and the client says- I trust you - go ahead. Inspiration is everywhere, the past 6 months i have been feeding inspiration to a big project - moodBoards, colours, what materials etc. We are responsible for the Interior design, trend & direction of a big project and we love, love, love this project - seriously - but.. sometimes we also need to be inspired. We have "harvested" inspiration from Miami before - and it happened again, we found a number of new types of furniture, art, artists & indoor /outdoor & vertical functional gardens for the project.
